Kingdom Capital Network
2024 Impact Report
In 2024, God not only allowed KCN to make significant strides towards long-term sustainability and impact, but experience continued growth in serving His Church and beyond
God's Faithfulness: Redeeming Business Growth
Note From Our Executive Director, Wes Fang

KCN Friends and Supporters,

As we reflect on 2024, our hearts are filled with gratitude for how your generosity, prayers, and encouragement have enabled Kingdom Capital Network (KCN) to live out its mission: Equipping small business owners with Kingdom capital for city renewal.
Looking ahead, we're energized by an expanded vision: cultivating a life-giving ecosystem of Kingdom-minded businesses. We envision alumni mentoring new entrepreneurs, business profits reinvested into local communities, and spiritual flourishing spreading across the KCN network.

We invite you to remain connected: to pray for the business owners we serve, to partner financially, and to share this mission with others. Your involvement is not just an investment in businesses—it’s an investment in God’s redemptive work in Austin and beyond. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we're building something that lasts.

With Blessings and Gratitude,
Wes
Note From Our Founder, Steve Teng
For some, embracing the truth that work is an integral part of life with God and His mission has brought freedom. For others, God’s Spirit has revealed redemptive opportunities, helping them recognize the deep influence and responsibility they have in serving their employees.

Equally remarkable has been God’s grace through the many of you who said “yes” to supporting this inspired yet challenging venture. You generously gave your time, offered counsel, connected us with advocates in the community, shared feedback when we struggled, and faithfully prayed when we faced what seemed like insurmountable roadblocks.

We often quote one of our founding board members when explaining KCN: "A Kingdom, friends & family, community for business owners most proximate to marginalized communities." Looking back, we see that by God's grace, this very spirit has shaped and sustained KCN. Thank you for being our "friends and family."

Onward by God's grace,
Steve

Spiritual Flourishing

Better Foundation Fitness
"Partnering with KCN has not only provided essential insight into running a personal training business through meetings with our business mentor, but has also provided spiritual support via cohort speakers sharing how God created work and how good that is.

In this environment of iron sharpening iron, it can feel abrasive because you are becoming something else, someone else. That journey can feel overwhelming and intimidating with or without support! However, coming out capable of forging new paths forward and handling the ups and downs of running a business in a broken world in a spiritually healthy way is worth it. I truly believe God has shown us His goodness through all aspects of what KCN offers."
- Renee & Derrick

90% of KCN businesses would highly recommend the program to a fellow business owner. Our prayer is that, as more business owners refer their fellow entrepreneurs to the program, the light of the Gospel will radiate across Austin through the redemptive work of these small businesses.
Organizational Flourishing
KCN businesses employed 150+ individuals in their communities and around the city

Frozen Panther Daquiris &
Monae Beaute
Chelcee and Michael have never lacked ambition. As a married couple with big dreams, they stepped into Kingdom Capital Network’s second cohort representing not just one business, but two—a food truck and a hair salon. Juggling their businesses alongside family responsibilities, they worked tirelessly to turn their vision into reality. But as the demands of daily life grew, they struggled to structure their businesses in a way that would qualify for the much-needed loan from KCN to expand their food truck, Frozen Panther.

On top of that, challenges kept piling up. Their food truck needed maintenance, licenses were due for renewal, and they wrestled with finding the right path toward sustainable growth. The road ahead was uncertain, and at times, discouraging.

Yet, Chelcee and Michael refused to give up. With unwavering faith and the support of the KCN community, their mentor, and their church, they kept moving forward. Even after being denied a loan initially, they remained committed—showing up to every meeting, refining their strategy, and leaning on the wisdom of those around them.
Through these pivotal moments, they found clarity. They restructured their business model, shifted their focus toward catering, and reignited their passion for serving their community through food. Their perseverance paid off. Soon, Frozen Panther gained the traction it needed—not only qualifying for a KCN loan but using it to renew licenses, maintain their truck, and set their business on solid ground.
Today, Chelcee and Michael’s dream is thriving. They’ve hired three new employees, secured a prime location for their food truck, and have been catering events across Central Texas—including multiple KCN gatherings. Their journey is a testament to perseverance, faith, and the power of community. And with each plate they serve, they’re not just feeding people—they’re sharing a story of resilience and hope.

Pink Daisy Beauty Bar
For Chamagne, facials were never just about skincare—they were a rare moment of self-care in the midst of single motherhood. In her 30s, those sessions became a way to recharge, to step away from the busyness of life, and to remind herself that she, too, was worth investing in.

Years later, when she launched Pink Daisy Beauty Bar, she carried that same belief into her business. She wanted to create a space where women could pause, breathe, and be restored—just as she once had. But as any entrepreneur knows, passion alone isn’t enough. Building and sustaining a business came with challenges, and Chamagne knew she couldn’t do it alone.

In 2024, she joined Kingdom Capital Network with one goal: to invest in her business the way she had learned to invest in herself. What she didn’t expect was how much God would reshape her journey. Through KCN, Chamagne realized she didn’t have to have all the answers. Her job wasn’t to have entrepreneurship perfectly figured out—but to remain focused, obedient, and open to what God was placing in front of her.

For six months, she leaned in—soaking up wisdom from her mentor, her cohort, and the KCN team. Through a KCN loan, she was able to pay off business debt, support her Pink Daisy Beauty Bar storefront in Round Rock, and sustain payroll for her employees. But the impact went deeper than finances.

Chamagne found a renewed confidence—not just as a business owner, but as a woman walking in faith. With clarity and strategy, she stepped into 2025 with a new business model—one designed for sustainable growth. She refined her staffing structure, diversified her revenue streams, and strengthened the systems that would allow Pink Daisy Beauty Bar to flourish.

Most importantly, she did it all with God at the center. Because for Chamagne, success isn’t just about skincare or sales—it’s about creating a space where women can be restored, inside and out, just as she once was.

Jabes Libreria Cristiana, the only Spanish Christian bookstore in Austin, was able to open a brick and mortar location and expand clientele with the help of a KCN loan.
KCN Alum Highlight
We also celebrated the continued growth and success of businesses from KCN’s inaugural cohort.

Moses Construction
For Karla and Moises, their first Kingdom Capital Network meeting was more than just an introduction to business resources—it was the first time they truly understood how much God cares about their work.

That truth changed everything.

From that moment forward, they began operating Moses Construction with a renewed perspective. No longer was their business just a means to make a living—it was a calling. Clinging to the truth of the Gospel gave them the wisdom to make difficult decisions and the strength to weather seasonal slumps. And they never had to do it alone. The KCN team and their fellow cohort members stood beside them, offering prayers, encouragement, and fresh ideas to help their business grow.

Their time with KCN didn’t just shape their mindset—it transformed their operations. With the help of a KCN loan, Karla and Moises purchased a dump trailer that significantly lightened the workload for their team, making their business more efficient. They also saw an increase in annual revenue and discovered new ways to care for their employees, ensuring that their company reflected their faith in every aspect.
But perhaps the greatest impact of their KCN journey wasn’t just on their business—it was on their hearts. Karla, inspired by the support and transformation they had experienced, decided to give back in a powerful way. She joined the KCN team(!), offering interpretation and care for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in current and future cohorts.
For Karla and Moises, Moses Construction is more than a business—it’s a testament to faith, perseverance, and the power of community. And through their work, they’re not just building structures—they’re building a legacy rooted in God’s provision.
And We're Excited To See Where God Takes Us In 2025
This year, we've expanded our team and network of churches, making us more equipped to serve our current cohort and future business leaders.
