Slow Down To Speed Up

Can you afford to take time to rest?

For most business owners, rest feels like a luxury they can't afford. As the business grows, their free time shrinks and finding time to pursue Biblical rest can feel impossible, if not naive.

But as followers of Jesus, rest is something we can't afford to put off.

In fact, we have the greatest example of rest in Jesus Himself. Throughout Scripture, we see Him dedicated to His work of ministry while also consistently taking time away to be alone with the Father. Jesus wasn't running around always on the grind, marking off tasks and running errands—He prioritized quietness and closeness with the Father to give Him the strength and renewal needed to pursue His work well.

Jesus rested and so should we.

That's why you're invited to this retreat, friend. This is an opportunity to rest, reset, and get renewed alongside other KCN Cohort Alum in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. FAQS

There are 15 rooms with a combination of 23 King or Queen-size beds. Upon arrival, you will receive your room assignment. Everyone will be assigned their own beds (married couples will be able to share). You may request an independent room, but we can't promise we'll be able to accommodate every request.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

You will not need laptops during our Sessions. The heart of this time is for you to be as unplugged as possible, though you are more than welcome to bring your laptop to check in on emails and catch up on light work during our Break times.

Can I bring my laptop/will there be times for light work like email check-ins?

The retreat is designed to be attended for the entirety of both days. We ask that you commit to at least being able to attend every Session, though as always we are open to conversation! Your presence for as much as possible of the retreat is a gift to our community.

Are there day passes or will I need to commit for both days?

All we ask is that you make necessary preparations between your business, home, and community to be able to step back to take time to rest, reflect, and work on your business for 1.5 days. Click here to get the pre-retreat checklist.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare?

This retreat is designed for you as a business owner. If you and your spouse are co-owners in your business, you are both invited and welcome to attend!

I'm married to my business partner, are both of us invited?

We never want cost to be a barrier to anything we offer. For this retreat, we do suggest a $50 donation which will go toward the cost of programming. Go to www.kingdomcapitalnetwork.org/donate to donate today. However, if this will be a barrier to your attendance, please feel free to donate whatever you can.

Is there a cost to attend?

We invite you to be as comfortable as possible for our time together! Feel free to bring loungewear for break times, athletic clothes if you plan on utilizing the volleyball or pickleball courts, whatever clothing you feel comfortable in if you plan on utilizing the e-bikes, and/or a swimsuit if you want to hop in the pool (it is Texas, after all). Otherwise, attire for our sessions will be casual & comfy.

What sort of clothes should I bring?
